I have to be honest with you wonderful internet people... I love burgers, and sometimes I consume two per week. I'm bragging. But also communicating that burgers can in fact be made into healthier versions. If using grass-fed beef, whole grain buns, fresh produce, and enjoyed with a side of veggies, why would a burger have to be flagged as inefficient for your health goals? It's all about balance, right?
Thankfully... our Trifecta beef patties are grass-fed AND 90% lean, and our produce is organic! Now the rest is up to you.
Use this recipe at your discretion and adjust it as needed - this is just a guideline to help get your creative juices flowing to make a quick lunch or dinner! (PSA: I ate this same recipe at the Trifecta HQs - and I may have added cheese to it. Proof in the picture!). Here's to your health!

DESCRIPTION
This recipe literally takes five minutes. Two minutes to warm up the Trifecta burger patty and toast your burger buns. Two minutes to warm your side veggie, and one to put the burger together. Voila! You have dinner (or lunch). Choose your favorite condiments (we use a simple chipotle aioli here) - you can stick to regular ketchup and mayo, add pickles or pickled onions, or dress it up however you like! Use this recipe as a guideline.

INSTRUCTIONS
Begin by toasting buns in a toaster or toaster oven until golden brown.
Microwave Trifecta patties for 2 minutes to reheat, by making a small hole in a corner to allow steam to escape. Carefully remove plastic film and keep warm until needed. Spread the chipotle mayo on both burger buns. On the bottom bun, add a small ⅛ packed cup of arugula.
Slice tomatoes. Slice the avocados lengthwise and separate them into quarters. Fan avocado and place on top of the leafy greens. Carefully transfer the patties from the microwave to the bottom burger bun. Place 3 thin tomato slices or 2 thick slices on top of each patty. Top with ⅛ cup warm mushrooms and place the top bun on the burger.
Optional side: Reheat 1 cup of your favorite Trifecta vegetable and enjoy your 5-minute dinner!
